America’s Next Top Model Cycle 6
“Fairy Tales Come True”, was the catch - phrase of the sixth cycle of America’s Next Top Model, which was first aired on 8th March, 2006. In this cycle, Bangkok, Thailand was the International location. The Cycle ended 17th May, 2006.
The prizes for the winner included a $100,000 contract with CoverGirl cosmetics, representation with Ford Models and a photo shoot for Elle magazine. The judges’ panel had the same names as in the last season, Twiggy, Tyra Banks, Nigel Barker and J. Alexander.
Twenty year old, Danielle Evans from Little Rock, Arkansas won the title, this being the third African American contestant to win the show. After winning the she said:
” I am the winner of America’s Next Top Model, my life has officially changed. My mother’s going to be so happy right now… right now it kinda doesn’t seem real to me because I’ve had so many struggles and I’ve had a hard knock life… we don’t have to struggle anymore. I’m a CoverGirl, Mommy! “
